Now that we’re heading into Spring and with that, a new quarter of the year, we wanted to share with you what’s new at Blue Sword, what we’ve been up to and a little insight into our newest clients!

Sparkle Leisure

‘Sparkle Leisure is part of the Eskmill’s service within CrossReach. Eskmill’s is a housing support service that also has 12 years experience facilitating holidays for people with learning disabilities. Sparkle aim to provide a range of holidays and short breaks to suit a variety of budgets.’

We have worked closely with Sparkle Leisure to ensure that their website effectively encapsulates the Sparkle Leisure brand and service whilst remaining modern, responsive and accessible to all website visitors.

Happy to Translate App

“Happy to Translate is a unique and innovative national scheme which bridges communication gaps between organisations and service users who struggle to communicate in English.

It is an award-winning not-for-profit initiative which uses an easily recognised logo and specialist tools and training to help people to overcome communication barriers. It enables people to receive information and services on an equal basis, in keeping with legislative requirements on equality issues.”

Blue Sword have been working with Happy to Translate on a new app that will help aide communication for police officers and a range of civil servants. It will also benefit any companies who regularly deal with non-English speaking service users and clients.

Blue Sword have worked closely with Happy to Translate to ensure that the app is exactly what they had envisioned.

Epilepsy Connections

“Epilepsy Connections was formed in April 2000 to provide information and support to people with epilepsy. It is a company limited by guarantee and registered in Scotland. It is also recognised as a Scottish Charity.

The charity’s principal objectives were, and continue to be:

  • Developing and delivering a range of community-based information and support services to people with epilepsy, their families, friends and carers and the professionals who work with them.
  • Raising awareness of the diversity and complexity of epilepsy needs and working with statutory, voluntary and independent agencies to address those needs.
  • Involving epilepsy service users in the processes of planning and delivering services and in the monitoriing and evaluation of those services”

Blue Sword have worked closely and sensitively with Epilepsy Connections for an ongoing campaign that we’ll soon be able to reveal the results of!

Emirates Fire Group

“Our mission at Emirates Fire Group is to minimise the risk of fires starting, we can ensure compliance with the UAE Life Safety Code of Practice and all relevant legal requirements in a number of ways.

From design to build we can advise on the design and materials used to minimise the possibility of fires starting and more importantly spreading through the building.

This can be achieved through close consultation and project management throughout the design and build phases”

We have worked with Ayrshire based Emirates Fire Group on improving their web design and ensuring that the website is fully responsive and user-friendly regardless of the user or their device.

 

BoConcept Glasgow

BoConcept is the brand name of Denmark’s most global retail furniture chain with more than 250 sales units in 60 countries around the world.

Passion and persistence are what move the people behind the BoConcept brand, whether they are designing a wall unit, leading a team, or managing a store. Our common mission is to make modern design furniture available to the urban-minded customer.

We have worked with BoConcept on a successful blogger outreach campaign. This involved sourcing and contacting highly influential bloggers and having BoConcept Glasgow promoted on a range of platforms as well as a combined audience of 10,000 readers.

Easyways

EasyWays provides walking holidays across Scotland with a choice of Fixed Price and customised Self-Guided Walks. The company has built a reputation for good quality service over the past 20 years to match the expectations of both seasoned and inexperienced walkers alike.

Scotland’s most famous long distance walking route, the West Highland Way, is extremely popular with Easyways Walkers and is one of 14 walks on offer throughout the country form The North Highland Way in the far North coast to Hadrian’s Wall on the border with England.

We have been working with EasyWays on a new, ongoing SEO campaign. This has including on-site, technical and link building efforts. We’ve enjoyed working with the EasyWays team on a creative and exciting SEO campaign this year!
