Three of the Coolest Pieces of Tech

With technology continuing to advance every second of every day, its no surprise that there are some pretty cool and fun pieces of tech out now. We have put together some of the latest, greatest and coolest pieces of tech for you to enjoy right now.

Alchema Brewer

Let’s be honest, who hasn’t dreamt of having their very own brewery to provide yourself with an endless stream of your favourite alcoholic beverage? Well, now your dreams can become a reality with the brilliant Alchema Brewer. This nifty piece of tech allows you to brew your own beer, cider and wine from the comfort of your own home, reducing the risk of the typically bad tasting home brews.

The brilliant gadget connects to your phone through the Alchema app, allowing you to access recipes for all kinds of wine, beer and ciders. The app allows you to select your favourite fruit to make into a delicious alcoholic beverage. It then provides you with accurate recipes to ensure the final product tastes as good as possible.

The Alchema Brewer was designed to overcome the issues that usually occur when people attempt to brew their own alcohol. With a UV-C LED to sanitise the container before you create your drink, the device helps prevent contamination of the container, which is the common cause for bad tasting home made drinks.

Furthermore, with the built in technology which connects to your phone, you will be notified (in about one or two weeks for cider) when your delicious beverage is ready. We have to say, we love this piece of tech, and certainly want to get our hands on this brilliant little gadget.

Tour Guide App

This brilliant new app idea is currently being developed by Google, providing you with a tour guide in the palm of your hand. The app is set to use recognition technology to identify pieces of art, allowing the app to then tell you all about the piece of art in front of you. The app is currently only being tested in three locations (London’s Dulwich Picture Gallery, Sydney’s Art Gallery of South Wales and the National Art Gallery in Washington D.C.) but it is set to be rolled out to 20 plus locations following the tests in these three locations.

As well as using recognition technology, Google have also developed an app which allows you to take virtual tours of a number of art galleries around the world. This brilliant app allows you to see some of the world’s most famous artworks from the comfort of your own home, brilliant!

Modobag

This innovative piece of tech is brilliant for those who travel frequently and grow tired of walking around vast airports around the world. Modobag is the first of its kind, a suitcase-vehicle hybrid. The brilliant bag can be used as a typical suitcase using the extendable handle and by pulling it along on its wheels, but you can also ride the bag as a vehicle if you are in a rush (or just feeling a little lazy). Modobag travels at speeds of up to 8 mph, and can travel as far as 6 miles through airports. The bag is designed to fit in the overhead storage and is compliant with TSA, FAA and IATA regulations. An app is also being developed to be used alongside the bag, coming in at $69 for the app and $995 for the bag, due to be released in January 2017.
